Teacher of Science / Chemistry

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic and talented teacher of Science who is able to obtain the best outcomes for their pupils. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their subject and determined to impart knowledge, skills and understanding to all our young people, whilst exciting and engaging hem in their learning.  The successful candidate will teach both KS3 and KS4 pupils and to have experience of delivering Chemistry to GCSE examination level would be an advantage.

Teaching / Curriculum Support Assistant

Grade 1 - Term Time £18,426 per annum, pro rata Term Time + 5 Days

We are seeking to appoint a talented and committed individual to join our Learning Support Department here at Thornhill Academy.   The role of the Teaching Assistant will be to work with pupils with identified SEND needs in order to promote their inclusion and to provide support for teaching and personalised learning. There will also be an expectation to be first aid trained and administer first aid as and when required as part of a duty rota.

HLTA - Teaching / Curriculum Support Assistant

Grade 4 - Term Time £21,589 per annum, pro rata Term Time + 5 Days

We are seeking to appoint a talented and committed individual to join our Learning Support Department here at Thornhill Academy.   The role of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be to work with pupils with identified SEND needs in order to promote their inclusion and to provide support for teaching and personalised learning.  As part of the role there will be expectation to plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals, small groups or classes.  There will also be an expectation to be first aid trained and administer first aid as and when required as part of a duty rota.
