Thornhill School joins the Sainsbury's School Games!
Boys and Girls teams from Thornhill recently took part in the Regional Sainsbury's School Games, where the event consists of running , jumping and throwing events all completed at indoor.
The Year 8 Girls finished tied for First and will now go through to next round. Girls involved were Kody Waterston, Sydney Neary, Erin High, Madison Craggs, Amelia Shilling, Kate Price, Jessica Grieveson, Nina Buckton
The boys finished 6th, the team included James Usher, Daniel Todd, Bradley Lindsay, Ben Gilby, Lewis Laybourne, Matthew Sanderson and JJ Robins.
Overall, the Year Team 8 finished 3rd behind Oxclose and MWM.
Yr 7/8 Girls team of Demilee Turnbull, Georgia Taylor, Regan Gibbons, Katie Booth, Shanice Fulton, Jesse Cook, Charlie Barrass and Vanessa Le Menn finished 11th
