As part of Anti-bullying week in November a competition was launched throughout the Authority for any young person to design a logo or mascot for Sunderland Anti-Bullying Service.

Dorothy Maddison, Sunderland’s Anti-Bullying Co-ordinator, contacted school to say the entries have been judged and the winner in the secondary school category is JJ Robins of 8B2 who designed a poster. He will recieve an ipad at an award ceremony to be held in the Civic Chambers at the Civic Centre in March.

His logo of “STOP THINK SEND” from his winning poster will be used with a mascot designed by a primary school pupil for the Sunderland Anti-bullying Service.

Well Done JJ!
