STOP PRESS! The final total raised by Thornhill Pupils is a massive £529.43. Congratulations to all.

Kind hearted pupils at Thornhill School have dug deep to collect £390 in just 5 days to help support charitable work in the Philippines.

Each tutor group was asked to collect spare change, and in the 5 days last week pupils were able to amass the total with the help of generous family and neighbours who donated coppers to the appeal.

This kind-hearted support illustrates the caring nature of the school in thinking of those less fortunate than pupils at Thornhill School, and comes hard on the heels of the fantsastic work undertaken as part of Children in Need, when the school raised around another £260.60 for the annual event.

Everyone at Thornhill is proud of the support we give to the local and the wider community, and we look forward to supporting events in the future.
