Sport Relief update 2

Saturday saw parents and prospective pupils of Thornhill visit the school to participate in some alternative activities in aid of Sport Relief. There were taster sessions in Kayaking, Zumba, Trampolining, Table-Tennis and Archery. Pupils and parents from our feeder Primary Schools tried several different sports, with many having a go for the very first time.

Refreshments were provided and all proceeds went to Sport Relief 2014. Thanks to all that attended and we look forward to seeing you back at school in the near future.

Previously, on Friday, Thornhill School pupils and staff walked the extra mile for Sport Relief.

Class 9H1, Mrs Todd and Miss Bainbridge completed a mile walk around the school grounds in support of Sport Relief during tutor time. All of the pupils donated money towards the charity.
