For the second year in a row, Thornhill School has been named regional winners in the Step into the NHS Careers Competition.
This time, Rebecca Gilby and Sarah Sweeney both of 8H2, won with their colourful advert for a gardener in the NHS. The girls' entry was picked from over 3000 entries countrywide. The judges were particularly impressed with the attention to detail that the work showed and were pleased that one of the lesser known jobs in the NHS had been researched.
Both girls were presented with certificates and Amazon gift vouchers by Michael Wilson and Alan Spraggon from the NHS.
Well done girls!
