Congratulations to our TARAH team of peer mentors who recently received another award to add to their collection from recent years.

Last Thursday year 10 representatives attended the city schools awards presentation at Sunderland Civic Centre where they received the prize for the “most active anti-bullying team” from all Sunderland secondary schools.

Judges were particularly impressed with how our peer mentors help with year 6 transition, vulnerable pupils and further anti-bullying activities.

As a school we are extremely proud of all of our peer mentors and we fully appreciate their efforts. Year 9 pupils will soon be asked to apply to be our next team.
