Thornhill visit to New York - Thornhill School Thornhill visit to New York

Posted by Louise Meah at 9:36AM on 18 July 2016

As you read this Thornhill pupils will be returning from an amazing five days in New York.

The music department and Mrs LeRoy organised this visit to give pupils this once in a life time opportunity. Pupils have experienced a Broadway show after watching 'School of Rock', travelled on the world famous subway and have seen the Statue of Liberty. They also visited the moving 911 memorial dedicated to the September 11th attacks.

The trip has been documented Instagram.  Pupils also took the opportunity to launch the school's 50th anniversary and what better way than to do that than in front of Statue of Liberty.

All young people have behaved impeccably and are a credit to the school and their families.
