Attendance matters - Thornhill School Attendance matters

Posted by at 8:54PM on 27 February 2012

To all Hislop pupils: full attendance is really important not only for your learning to take place, but to make sure you achieve the best possible results that you can and to take advantage of all that Thornhill has to offer you.  If you have a medical appointment and need a pass out of school please bring your appointment card.  If you are not well enough to attend please bring your absence note written by your parent/ carer on the day of your return.

Good punctuality is also important to your learning.  If you arrive at school on time, fully equipped for the day, chances are you will have a good day of learning.

Just remember ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES and if you arrive late to school you will be issued with a detention will take place the following evening.
