For World Book Day, Thornhill Academy transformed into a vibrant celebration of reading, with staff going above and beyond in creative and imaginative fancy dress inspired by beloved literary characters. 

Students in every year group took part in a variety of activities, including lively quizzes that tested their book knowledge and the ever-popular masked reader challenge, where students eagerly tried to guess the mystery readers behind the disguises. 

To further inspire a love of literature, golden ticket prizes were awarded to lucky students, granting them brand-new books, while every student received a World Book Day token to choose a special edition title or put towards a book of their choice. The day was a true testament to the joy of reading and the dedication of staff in creating a magical experience for all.
